want2PASS is committed to treating all clients equally irrespective of any personal status or situation, including but not limited to, age,ethnic origin,marital status,religion,sex,sexuality etc. In addition want2PASS follows the following voluntary Code of Practice for ADIs published by the Driving Standards Agency

I / we will

  • Seek at all times to comply with the law and, in particular, legislative requirements related to discrimination, data protection, trading standards, the workplace and road safety.
  • At all times treat you with respect and consideration
  • Not offer non business related promotional gifts or hospitality to prevent any undue misunderstanding or offence.
  • Being in a position of trust, avoid any behaviour, which encourages a physical or emotionally dependent relationship to develop with you
  • Endeavour to maintain my skills and knowledge to the required standard
  • Avoid physical contact with you except in an emergency
  • Not make inappropriate contact with you via phone, text, email or any other means
  • Not make comments or converse with you about issues that could be deemed inappropriate, discriminatory, lewd or offensive
  • Ensure that the car is fit for purpose in that it is roadworthy and clean
  • Safeguard and be able to account for any monies paid in advance by you in respect of lessons, test fees or for any other purpose and will make the details available to you on request
  • Provide a copy of this Code of Practice, or highlight where it is available, to you
  • Show you my valid instructors certificate
  • Check your entitlement to drive the car and your ability to read a number plate at the statutory distance on the first lesson and before driving the vehicle, repeated at suitable intervals
  • When presenting you for a practical test ensure that you have all the necessary documentation to enable you to take the test and that the vehicle is roadworthy and the car is be prepared so that DSA supervising examiners can accompany the test if necessary
  • Advise you when to apply for your theory and practical tests, taking account of local waiting times and a forecast of your potential for achieving a consistent standard of safe driving
  • Not cancel or re-arrange your test without telling you why and in the event of a decision to withhold the use of the school vehicle for the test, give you sufficient notice to avoid your loss of the DSA test fee
  • At all times endeavour to teach you the correct knowledge and skills according to DSA’s recommended syllabus
  • Ensure that any discussions that occur with you are treated in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to uninterested third parties
  • Avoid physical contact with you except in an emergency

On or before the first lesson provide you with a written copy of Terms And Conditions including:

  • - the legal identity of the school/ instructor with full address and telephone number at which the instructor or their representative can be contacted
  • the price and duration of lessons
  • the price and conditions for use of a car for any practical test and any related booking fees
  • the terms under which cancellation by either party may take place
  • procedure for complaints - details of the refund policy
  • Conciliation

    • Any complaints should be made to want2PASS driver training, verbally and then in writing in the first instance. All complaints are taken very seriously and want2PASS strives for 100% customer satisfaction. If there is a dispute or misunderstanding I will make every attempt to clear this up. • Failing agreement or settlement of a dispute reference may then be made to DSA to consider the matter and advise accordingly.
