PASS PLUS is a post-test training scheme for new drivers,
designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of insurers and the
driving instruction industry. It's available through
want2PASS
and gives you extra skills, experience, confidence and safety, as well as usually
entitling you to lower insurance premiums
If you have only ever driven automatics, but now want to drive a manual car, you’ll
need to take the practical driving
test again. That extra pedal can be tricky too so you'll need professional
help.
Can you change a wheel? Would you know how to recognise an imminent engine failure?
What would you do if the brakes failed? Can you check the oil correctly? If you
can’t answer these questions then a short course could prevent a simple problem
becoming a complete nightmare for you.
